Philip Printz

  also spelled Brentz, Prince  
 

Johann Philip Printz was born about 1711 in Germany.

His first wife was Maria Painter. Maria and Philip's children included:

Regina Margaretta Printz (1732, died as infant),
Anna Maria Printz (1737),
Johann Philip Printz (1739),
Johann George Printz (1742, married Magdalena Crum and Mary Magdalene Shafer), and
Adam and Jacob Printz (1748, died as infants).

His second wife was Anna Maria Schwenzer. Their children included:

Juliana Maretha Printz (1750, died as an infant),
Gottlieb Printz (1752, married Elizabeth Crum),
Gottfried Printz (1754),
Magdalena Printz (1755, married Mathias Loudenback, and
Barbara Printz.

In 1751 the family came to American on the ship Brothers. At first they settled in York County, Pennsylvania.

About 1758 they moved to Page County, Virginia.
